For more than 30 years, we have been professionally disposing of and destroying X-ray films in compliance with data protection regulations for doctors in private practice, hospitals and other medical institutions as well as digitisers, material testers and industrial companies. We fulfil all tasks, from consulting to processing and secure transport to recycling of the film material.

Thanks to the merger of Schmidtentsorgung and Kampshoff, Schmidt + Kampshoff has had its own recycling facility for X-ray images for many years.
We are certified for our extraordinarily high data protection requirements and standards in the entire disposal process of analogue and digital X-ray films, microfilms and patient files.
We hold the quality seal of being a specialist disposal company in accordance with the Recycling Management Act (KrWG). We are also certified by Mission 100 e.V. according to DIN 66399-3. We guarantee efficient, secure and data protection-compliant destruction of your confidential data in accordance with legal requirements.
We meet the technical and organisational requirements for the destruction of information carriers requiring protection classes 1 to 3 in accordance with DIN SPEC 66399-3 / ISO/IEC 21964. We fully comply with the measures for the protection of particularly sensitive and personal data required by Article 32 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We handle analogue X-ray films and microfilms from collection at the customer's premises to transport and destruction in our own facility in Rhede in accordance with the requirements of the highest possible security level 7, according to which reproduction of the documents is excluded.
We destroy digital X-ray material as well as patient files according to security level 4 as prescribed.
We dispose of X-ray films and associated patient files and data carriers in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act (KrWG). We also have a disposal solution for X-ray images that have become moist.
Thanks to our partners, we also offer many other services. We digitise documents, store them in external archives and can also make damaged data available again.
